Yasser Ballemans is an artist and a curator, consultant and producer. As a Fine Arts student he was one of the initiators of KOP, a workshop and exhibition space for artists and designers in Breda. He organised and curated several events, exhibitions and fairs including the Graduation Festival of the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 2012.
In 2010 Ballemans won the Great Prize of the Biennale of Vallauris BICC.

Currently, Ballemans is investigating the relations between Carnival and Art, as well as experimenting with active models for Art in the context of Carnival.
