Since 1985 Bente Hansen has exhibited every second year with the exhibitiongroup “Keramiske veje” at Den Frie, Copenhagen and Sophienholm, Kgs. Lyngby, and since 1999 she has exhibited yearly with the exhibitiongroup CORNER at Charlottenborg, Copenhagen and Sophienholm, Kgs. Lyngby.
Bente Hansen is a member of ICA: The International Academy of Ceramics and has exhibited with the IAC i Shigaraki, Paris, Köln, Athen, and Santa Fe
Her work is represented in museums such as Stockholms National Museum, Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landesmuseum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Palmer museum Pennsylvania, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg and Designmuseum Danmark. Major collections include The New Carlsberg Foundation and The Danish Arts Foundation
Awarded theThe Danish Arts Foundation 3 year grant in 1985 and TheThorvald Bindesbøll Medal of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2005
